I left there a very enjoyable job as well as very good friends. In fact, still today I always refuel at Repsol’s Petrol Stations! Then I joined Telvent (now Schneider Electric). I had the opportunity to work in the energy division supporting sales and business development in utilities all over the globe including Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia. Working as a team we were able to penetrate new markets and win new projects, contributing to the extreme growth of the company during those years. I had the chance to meet many people in diverse utilities worldwide sharing how different countries with distinct cultures and development statuses manage their energy challenges. I must say that once again, I left a very enjoyable job (working hard and having fun) as well as very good friends. Now I am working for Landis+Gyr, the leading global provider of integrated energy management solutions for the utility sector. Offering one of the broadest portfolios, the company delivers innovative and flexible solutions to help utilities solve their complex challenges in smart metering, grid edge intelligence and smart infrastructure. I joined the company as Business Development Manager for Iberia actively supporting the smart metering deployments in Spain and Portugal. In 2015, I took a new central sales role in the company as Business Development Manager Smart Grids for EMEA. In 2016, I was appointed as Sales Director for South West Europe and Sales Channels in the Business Unit Energy Solutions. In 2019, as Sales Director, I expanded my geographic area to EMEA. In 2021, I accepted a new challenge becoming Head of Bid Strategy & Management for EMEA . I have passion to learn and I am looking forward to taking on new challenges. Esmig
